Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 July 2026
Kynto (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a product of ZooZoo Products, based in the Netherlands.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including for the Kynto mobile apps (iOS and Android) and our marketing website at trykynto.com.
1. What Kynto does
Kynto allows you to scan clothing items and generate AI-powered try-on images based on your personal profile.
To make this work, we process images and basic account data.
2. Data we collect
Account data
- Email address (for login and account management)
- An internal user ID used to operate your account (for example, our authentication provider’s user ID)
User content
- Profile images (e.g. full body or selfie)
- Clothing scans
- Generated try-on images
- Saved outfits and collections
Usage & device data (mobile app)
- In-app usage events (for example screens viewed and funnel steps such as signup, try-on, and purchase)
- Device and app information used for performance, security, and measurement (for example device type, OS, and app version)
- Where permitted, advertising or device identifiers used for install and campaign measurement (see Sections 5 and 6)
Subscription & purchase signals
- Purchase-related events tied to subscriptions (for example start of a trial or purchase), which may be processed by our subscription provider and, where configured, shared for billing attribution (see Section 6)
Marketing website (trykynto.com)
Website measurement is separate from mobile app attribution. See Section 7 (Cookies & website analytics).
3. How we use your data
We use your data to:
- Provide the core functionality of the app (AI try-ons)
- Store and manage your digital closet
- Understand how the app is used and improve product performance and quality
- Measure which ads and campaigns lead to installs and key in-app conversions, so we can run and improve paid marketing
- Operate and refine our marketing website experience (where website analytics is activated)
- Ensure security and prevent abuse
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not use your photos, garment scans, style preferences, or try-on images as advertising identifiers. Product analytics and advertising measurement are used to improve Kynto and to measure ad performance — not to sell your photos or style data.
4. AI processing
Kynto uses AI models via external providers to generate images and provide suggestions.
This means:
- Your images may be securely processed by third-party AI services
- Data is only used to generate your requested results
- We do not allow third parties to use your data for their own purposes
5. App product analytics (Mixpanel)
In the Kynto mobile apps, we use Mixpanel to understand in-app usage — for example which screens people open and funnel events such as signup, try-on, and purchase — so we can improve the product.
When you are signed in, analytics events are associated with our internal user ID (our authentication provider’s user ID). We do not use your email address as the primary analytics identifier.
Consent and defaults:
- EU / UK: During onboarding we show an explicit in-app consent screen for usage analytics. You can change this later in the app under Profile → Preferences → Privacy & data.
- Outside the EU / UK: Usage analytics may be on by default until you turn it off in the same Privacy & data settings.
Turning the toggle off stops new analytics events from being sent. It does not by itself delete historical analytics records already processed by Mixpanel.
6. Advertising & attribution (mobile measurement)
This section applies to the Kynto iOS and Android apps only. Our marketing website does not use AppsFlyer.
AppsFlyer (mobile measurement partner)
We use AppsFlyer, a mobile measurement partner (MMP), to measure which ads and campaigns (for example on TikTok, and later other platforms such as Meta) lead to app installs and key conversions. This helps us measure and optimize paid marketing.
When analytics / ad measurement consent allows custom events, we may share conversion events with AppsFlyer such as:
- App install (via the AppsFlyer SDK)
- Registration
- First try-on completed
- Subscription purchase
AppsFlyer may receive device or advertising identifiers where permitted (including under Apple’s App Tracking Transparency rules on iOS — see below), as well as our internal user ID for identity matching.
Subscription-related events from our billing provider (RevenueCat) may also be sent server-to-server to AppsFlyer (for example renewals or trials) for billing attribution, using AppsFlyer-linked identifiers.
Consent gate for custom events: Custom in-app attribution events use the same in-app Privacy & data control described in Section 5. Turning the toggle off stops new custom attribution events from being sent.
Install-level measurement: Separately, where permitted by applicable law, the AppsFlyer SDK may still initialize at a basic level so that install attribution can function. That does not mean we send your photos or style data to advertising partners. What may run without (or before) optional consent can depend on platform rules and local law.
Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) — iOS
On iOS, we may ask for permission to track activity across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising measurement (for example access to the device’s advertising identifier, often called IDFA).
- We show an in-app explanation before Apple’s system dialog. In the EU / UK, this may be combined with the analytics consent flow; in other regions it may appear as a separate, short prompt.
- You can change this later in iOS Settings → Kynto → Allow Tracking.
- Without ATT authorization, advertising identifiers may be unavailable (for example a zeroed IDFA). Privacy-preserving measurement such as Apple’s SKAdNetwork may still apply.
Advertising partners
Advertising platforms we buy ads from (for example TikTok, and in the future Meta) may receive aggregated or partner-shared conversion signals via AppsFlyer so campaigns can be measured. We do not currently embed TikTok or Meta advertising SDKs in the Kynto app for this purpose.
7. Cookies & website analytics (trykynto.com only)
If you browse our marketing site (trykynto.com), we may use Google Analytics to understand aggregated traffic (for example which pages load, referrer, generalized location, browser and device categories) only where you approve analytics measurement through the banner on those pages.
Measurement is powered by cookies or similar identifiers as described by Google Analytics. Google operates this service independently; consult Google’s disclosures for detail on its processing.
Website cookies and Google Analytics are not the same as AppsFlyer mobile attribution. Declining the website banner does not change your in-app Privacy & data settings, and vice versa.
To reset your banner choice later, remove stored site data for trykynto.com from your browser and reload the website.
8. Data storage & security
Your data is:
- Stored securely in our database infrastructure
- Protected using access controls (such as row-level security)
- Only accessible to you unless you choose to share it
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data.
9. Data retention & deletion
You are in full control of your data.
You can:
- Delete individual images or items at any time
- Delete your entire account
When you delete your account:
- All associated account and user-content data is permanently removed from our systems used to operate the product
Analytics and attribution providers may retain event data according to their own retention settings and our configuration with them. Turning off in-app analytics stops new events; it may not erase past events already received by those providers.
10. Sharing & service providers
Optional sharing you control
Kynto may allow you to share outfits or images with others.
This is:
- Fully optional
- Controlled by you
If you choose to share content, it may become visible to others.
Processors and partners (categories + examples)
We use trusted service providers to help us operate Kynto. Depending on the feature, this may include:
- Product analytics — Mixpanel
- Mobile measurement / attribution — AppsFlyer
- App stores & platform measurement — Apple and Google (including App Tracking Transparency and, where applicable, SKAdNetwork)
- Advertising partners — platforms such as TikTok and Meta that may receive aggregated or partner-shared conversion signals via AppsFlyer (we do not currently embed TikTok/Meta SDKs in-app for this)
- Subscriptions — RevenueCat (may share purchase-related signals with AppsFlyer for return-on-ad-spend measurement)
- Infrastructure & authentication — providers that host our database and auth (for example Supabase)
- Website analytics — Google Analytics on trykynto.com (see Section 7)
These providers process data on our instructions or as independent controllers where their own products require it. Their privacy notices apply to their processing.
11. Age restriction
Kynto is intended for users aged 16 and older.
We do not knowingly collect data from users under this age.
12. Your choices & rights
In-app controls
- Usage analytics / ad measurement: Profile → Preferences → Privacy & data. Turning this off stops new Mixpanel analytics events and new custom AppsFlyer in-app attribution events from being sent.
- Privacy policy: The app’s Privacy policy row links to this page.
iOS system tracking (ATT)
- Change Allow Tracking anytime in iOS Settings → Kynto → Allow Tracking.
Website cookies
- Use the cookie banner on trykynto.com, or clear site data for trykynto.com in your browser to reset your choice (see Section 7).

If you are in the EU or UK, you may have the right to:
- Access your data
- Correct your data
- Delete your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@trykynto.com.
